The 2022 Educator Preparation Program and Workforce Analysis report reveals how the status of teacher retention and compensation have created a workforce crisis across Wisconsin.

Mr. Yauo Yang has informed us that by next Wednesday, April 17, he's hoping to raise a grand total of $20,000 through this GoFundMe page to pay off the Wausau School District's entire student lunch debt, as well as that of another local school district.

Mr. Reiche was appointed interim principal last August following the departure of Amanda Patterson. Since then, he's done a fantastic job leading John Marshall! Prior to being appointed interim principal, Mr. Reiche was a 5th grade teacher at Marshall for 7 years.

We are excited to celebrate the contributions of Asian Americans and Hmong Americans in the classroom and educate students about their history! In fact, as Gov. Evers stated, "The Hmong and Asian American communities are a critical part of our state's history, culture, economy, and our future. It's important that we celebrate our shared histories and honor the people who help make Wisconsin the state it is today." We could not agree more!
As we prepare to welcome new Board members, we'd like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to Karen Vandenberg and Cody Nikolai. Their service to our students, their families, staff, and the Wausau community does not go unnoticed. Again, thank you for your dedication to the Wausau School District.

“The Board of Education unanimously supports Mr. Bushman’s promotion to superintendent and we look forward to working with him in this new capacity starting in July,” said Board of Education Vice President Lance Trollop, “Mr. Bushman’s educational experience and commitment to advancing student learning, achievement, and success make him the perfect fit for this role.”
